Starting an Ecommerce venture in India for branded merchandise, footwear, bags

Hi,

I'm based in India. I'm looking to start an online retail site. I want to source branded merchandise - footwear, bags, accessories.

Unfortunately most brands are either unavailable here or are extremely difficult to source, despite most of them having manufacturing facilities in India. Plus there are a hoard of fakes being sold - both online and wholesale!

Any suggestions on where I can source these products from and the import duties I'd have to pay? I really want to sell authentic stuff.
